Pigments are substances that provide color to paint, coatings, and inks. Organic pigments are chemical compounds that contain a high amount of carbon atoms. Solvent

4. Additives
Next is additives. Additives are additional substances used in the formulation of paint, coatings, and inks. Additives can be considered as supplementary components for paint, coatings, and inks. Additives are usually used to provide specific properties both in the production process and in the properties of the paint, coating, and ink layer/film. Specific properties may include protecting house wall paint from fungus and preventing the color of the product from fading quickly.
